Strong Precision Technologies (Strong Precision) was established by Tricor in partnership with experienced industry veterans to build a market leading company in the precision machining industry. Strong Precision seeks to acquire companies in its three targeted operating divisions: Medical, Industrial and Aerospace & Defense. Strong Precision's first acquisition was Comet Tool, Inc. (Comet), a Tier One precision machining company that supplies machined parts and tools to the agricultural, construction and mining end markets. Comet supplies over 470 SKUs, including bearings, plates and retainers used in the manufacturing of motor graders, diesel engines, crankshafts, wheel loaders and tractors. Strong Precision's second acquisition was Inland Midwest Corporation, a contract manufacturer of high-precision spinal and orthopedic surgical instruments and implants with operations conducted under stringent quality and certification requirements.
