Tricor Pacific Capital Brings Together Arctec Alloys and Rockmount Research & Alloys to Create a Leading North American Maintenance Welding Platform

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, July 3, 2026 – Tricor Pacific Capital is proud to announce the acquisition of Arctec Alloys Limited. The transaction brings together Arctec Alloys and its existing portfolio company, Rockmount Research & Alloys, to create a leading North American maintenance welding platform. The combination unites two highly respected brands with more than a century of combined experience, complementary product portfolios, and a shared commitment to helping customers extend the life of critical equipment through innovative repair and maintenance solutions.

Founded in Calgary in 1968, Arctec Alloys has earned a reputation as one of Canada’s leading suppliers of specialty repair and maintenance welding consumables, serving customers across mining, energy, manufacturing, agriculture, and other industrial sectors for more than six decades.

The acquisition represents a significant milestone in Tricor Pacific Capital’s strategy to build a leading North American performance MRO platform. With deep technical expertise, trusted customer relationships, and decades of industry experience, Arctec and Rockmount are well positioned to expand their product offering, extend their market reach, and better serve customers.
