Michael is responsible for the oversight of all day-to-day accounting activities, including A/R, A/P, implementing controls, tools and best practices and timely and accurate financial reporting and forecasting to the Executive team and Board.

Prior to joining Tricor, Michael worked as Corporate Controller at PwC Global Licensing Services Corporation, an entity responsible for executing and administering global licensing and IT services contracts on behalf of PwC member firms across 155 countries. Previous to that he oversaw the financial operation at the Automotive Retailers Association group of companies as the Director of Finance and Operations.

 Earlier in his career, Michael gained financial management experience in a diverse array of industries around the globe including TV and Film, serving as Finance Director at CBS Television International, a global producer and distributor of syndicated television product, and as Financial Manager at Paramount Pictures international, a film and entertainment content company.

​

He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and studied at the University of Pretoria where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and a Bachelors of Commerce (BCom) degree in Financial Management.

​

Michael also holds board positions at a couple of local non-profit organizations.
