As Operating Partner, Mike’s role is to drive deal flow and transaction execution within Tricor’s industrial platform, support the improvement and success of existing portfolio companies, and to help strategically position the firm for future success.

 

Mike has 25 years experience as a hands-on business leader in senior positions and advisory engagements for numerous privately held companies.  Over this period, Mike has worked with a wide range of incredibly passionate, and highly effective business leaders and owners. He has guided companies through scenarios ranging from CCAA turnarounds, business expansion and divestitures, and multiple acquisitions.

 

In 2015, Mike acquired ProSource Supply, a leading distributor of irrigation and landscaping products with nine branch locations from BC to Ontario.  During the ownership of ProSource, Mike has professionalized the finance, accounting and operations, functions, implemented a web-based ERP and accounting software application (NetSuite), acquired three industry related companies, and developed a driven, capable leadership team. 

 

Mike received his BComm from The University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
